On the sandy seabed off the coast of Mabini in the Philippines, a breeding pair of yellow pigmy goby has set up a temporary home in an empty bottle. Breeding pairs may also use old worm tubes or discarded cans. The female lays several batches of eggs, while the male guards the entrance.
