A portrait painting with a large red brick warehouse on the right hand side, partially obscured by a collection of white steamships. Next to those boats there are a number of small wooden row boats. They all sit on a still river in warm tones.
Nora Davison (1855-1950) was a watercolourist who is best known for her paintings of Eton, 13 of which are in the Eton College collection, as well as shipping and coastal scenes.
