Bristol Museum & Art Gallery looks after 500 Japanese woodblock prints, it is one of the top five regional collections of its kind in the UK. The prints span 200 years in date from the 1720s to the 1930s. You’ll find stunning landscapes by well-known artists such as Hokusai and Hiroshige, images of beauties by Utamaro and Harunobu and rare portraits of actors from the Kabuki stage.
