A stunning, vintage-inspired fridge magnet of the world famous Bristol Balloon Fiesta by popular illustrator Dave Thompson. The view looks down onto the historic Clifton Suspension Bridge and Avon Gorge. Teams from across the world bring their hot air balloons to the Bristol Balloon Fiesta and participate in mass ascents where as many as 100 balloons may launch at a time.

Dave Thompson’s work revisits a classic era of poster design, recreated in the vibrant tones of 1950s travel art. Dave has worked as a commercial artist for many years with advertising agencies and for more than 20 years as a freelance illustrator. His style has been influenced by the artists who were famous for creating the travel posters for the London Underground, admiring the work of Norman Wilkinson.
