A stunning, vintage-inspired print of Bristol harbourside by popular illustrator Dave Thompson. The view looks out toward the historic St Mary Redcliffe Church, with colourful houses and an array of boats in the foreground. Bristol Harbour is a former natural tidal river but was made into its current form in 1809.

Dave Thompson’s work revisits a classic era of poster design, recreated in the vibrant tones of 1950s travel art. Dave has worked as a commercial artist for many years with advertising agencies and for more than 20 years as a freelance illustrator. His style has been influenced by the artists who were famous for creating the travel posters for the London Underground, admiring the work of Norman Wilkinson.
