Elaine Shaw was born in Bristol and studied at Cornwall College of Art.

Her work has been shown in Galleries and Exhibitions across the country and she has worked to commission both here and abroad.

She is fascinated by light and how it affects our emotions and response to a subject.

She works in various mediums often incorporating gold and silver leaf and her paintings include Figurative, Landscape and Abstract subjects.
