A landscape in cool, pale colours of a gorge. On the right hand side is a steep ledge with a tall white building on it. To the left is a wide view of the other side of the gorge and the river down below. The river is silver and reflective, with tall ships sailing down the length of it.
Thomas Charles Leeson Rowbotham (1782–1853), was an Irish watercolour, landscape and marine artist and lithographer.
